Planning a visit can sometimes be a difficult and scary process. Well, we don’t want that to be the case at Tidewater. Here are some things to help make this awesome decision easy.

What to Expect

On Sunday mornings, you can participate in uplifting and God honoring songs, as well as enjoy inspiring music from our choir & musicians. The music is always followed by a clear and practical message from the Bible. Each service is about an hour in length.

While adults listen to the Bible message, children from K-4 through the 6th grade are dismissed to a special “Children’s Church.” They will sing songs and learn exciting truths from God’s Word.

If you would like, you could come early on Sunday (10am) and enjoy group Bible lessons (Sunday School). There are classes for adults and children K-4 to 12th grade.

Sunday evenings are similar to Sunday mornings except our children stay in for the worship service.

On Wednesday evening, adults meet at 7pm for prayer and a Bible lesson, while kids K-4 to 12th grade attend age-appropriate classes. On Wednesday evenings in the summer we enjoy fellowship around the casual compiling of John and Romans scriptures in our Fellowship Hall and outdoor module. Everyone is invited to participate.

1st Grade - 3rd Grade: Primary Sunday School Class

4th -6th Grade: Junior Sunday School Class

K - 6th Grade: Combined Junior Church

7th - 8th Grade: Junior Teen Sunday School

9th - 12th Grade: Senior Teen Sunday School

  • There is no dress code at Tidewater. You will see a variety of styles from suits and “Sunday bests” to jeans, t-shirts, and everything in between. We believe the most important part about church is showing up, ready to worship God.

  • NO. No offering will be collected during any of your visits. We have an offering box just outside the sanctuary in addition to other ways of giving if you choose. Please fill out a connection card and place it in the offering box.

  • We have two large parking lots to choose from. Guest parking is right in front of the church. There is another larger lot next to the fellowship hall.

  • Nursery care is provided for both infants and toddlers during all services. Nursery Info
